These terms govern your use of FlintAPI, operated by Yukun Technology (HK) Limited.
1. Service Description
FlintAPI provides API-based inference services for open-source large language models (LLMs). Users access these services through API keys to generate text completions and chat responses. FlintAPI is operated by Yukun Technology (HK) Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong SAR.
2. Account Registration
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for all activities under your account, including API key usage and associated charges. You agree not to share, transfer, or resell your account or API keys to unauthorized third parties.
3. Fees & Payment
FlintAPI operates on a prepaid, pay-as-you-go billing model. Fees are calculated based on actual token consumption and deducted from your account balance in real time. Current pricing is published on our Pricing page. Services are suspended when your balance is insufficient to cover an estimated request cost. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as provided in our Refund Policy (Section 8).
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use FlintAPI for:
- Generating illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or harmful content
- Creating or distributing malware, phishing content, or fraudulent materials
- Automated abuse, denial-of-service attacks, or excessive request flooding
- Circumventing rate limits, authentication, or security mechanisms
- Reverse engineering, extracting, or replicating the underlying models
- Any activity violating applicable laws and regulations
5. Intellectual Property
FlintAPI and its branding are the property of Yukun Technology (HK) Limited. The open-source models served through FlintAPI are subject to their respective licenses. You retain ownership of the content you generate using our service. By using FlintAPI, you grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely for the purpose of providing the service.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. AI-generated content may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. You should independently evaluate the suitability of any generated content. FlintAPI and Yukun Technology (HK) Limited disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
7. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify pricing, model availability, and these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-service notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
8. Refund Policy
FlintAPI is a prepaid service. The following refund terms apply:
8.1 7-Day No-Questions Refund
New users may request a full refund of their initial top-up amount within 7 calendar days of the payment, for any reason. This applies only to the first recharge and only if cumulative API usage during that period is below 10% of the recharged amount. Submit your request to support@flintapi.ai.
8.2 Balance Refund
Remaining account balances are refundable upon request. Any promotional or bonus credits are excluded from the refund calculation. Refunds are processed in USDT (TRC20) to an address you provide. A minimum refund amount of 10 USD equivalent applies. Processing time is up to 15 business days.
8.3 USDT (TRC20) Refund Process
- Submit a refund request to support@flintapi.ai from your registered email, specifying the refund amount and your TRC20 USDT wallet address.
- Our team will verify your account balance and usage within 3 business days.
- Upon approval, USDT refund will be sent to your TRC20 address. You will receive a transaction hash (TXID) for confirmation.
- The exchange rate used: the amount originally paid in USD will be refunded at 1:1 in USDT. If the original payment was in another currency, the prevailing USDT/USD market rate at the time of refund applies.
8.4 Other Refund Circumstances
- Service Outage: If FlintAPI experiences a confirmed service outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours caused solely by our infrastructure, you may request a prorated refund for the affected period.
- Billing Error: If you are charged incorrectly due to a verifiable system error, we will correct the charge and refund any overpayment.
- Account Closure by FlintAPI: If we terminate your account without cause (not due to a violation of these Terms), any remaining prepaid balance will be refunded in USDT within 30 days.
- Statutory Rights: Nothing in this policy limits any statutory refund rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Refund requests must be submitted to support@flintapi.ai. We process eligible refunds within 15 business days.
9. Upstream Model Providers
FlintAPI aggregates and resells inference capacity from third-party model providers. All models available through FlintAPI are subject to their respective providers' usage policies. Users agree to comply with these policies when accessing specific models.
- Model availability may change without notice based on provider relationships
- FlintAPI does not guarantee uptime or availability of any specific model
- Pricing reflects FlintAPI's retail rates and may differ from provider direct pricing
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or other legitimate reasons. You may discontinue use at any time. Prepaid balances are non-refundable upon termination for cause, subject to the Refund Policy (Section 8) for termination without cause.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Hong Kong in accordance with HKIAC rules.
